On Arrival of AeroSafe Materials:

Write date of delivery on AeroSafe/PCM pallet upon delivery to ensure first in-first out

* AeroSafe bins and PCMs must be rotated in the warehouse to be used in a first in first out basis - this is because AeroSafe bluetooth trackers included in the bins have expiration dates of approximately 3 months (upon delivery date of pallet)

PCM Storage:

** The freezer should constantly be filled with frozen PCM's.

Do an estimate on Monday morning based on what is waiting to be shipped in the fridge from the previous week that requires a cell tracker, and move the frozen PCM's required over to the fridge. On top of that, move an extra 4 cases over for orders/stock that happen to come in on Monday. Do the same thing on Tuesday. The rest of the week will just be Ozempic/insulin, so the PCM's that are in the fridge will be sufficient.

Conditioning PCMs (Refrigerated):

1. PCM boxes must be in the cooler/fridge for 1 week to be at proper temp

2. Label boxes with the date put into fridge in order to track immersion

3. Boxes must be spaced at least 6 inches from the side with holes to allow adequate airflow for cooling purposes

** Frozen PCMs: To condition faster, PCMs boxes are loaded into the warehouse freezer for at least 1 day, before being moved to warehouse cooler/fridge for at least 12 hours to reach adequate temperature

*** Properly conditioned PCM plates will be solid when pressed in the middle

Conditioning PCMs (Pre-Frozen then Refrigerated):

To condition PCMs faster than the standard 1 week:

1. Load PCM boxes into the warehouse freezer for at least 24 hours

2. Move frozen PCMs to warehouse refrigerator for at least 12 hours to reach adequate temperature for shipping

Conditioning PCMs (Frozen):

PCMs may only be considered frozen after being in the warehouse freezer for 24 hours

Frozen PCMs are required for certain AeroSafe bin configurations
