Introduction


You can report bugs, request features and ask for help with Profill all from inside the app. This process is separate from the order support request which you can do for each delivery order in Profill.


Creating a generate support request is done from the main menu, under File >> Send Feedback



This opens up the support request/feedback window:



When you open the feedback window, 


  1. Enter your email address. It will be remembered for future submissions.
  2. Type up the issue summary, like a subject line in an email.
  3. Choose your activity (optional)
  4. Tell us what you were doing, and then what happened.


Some additional options:

  • Checking send log files will attach your current log file

  • Checking send screenshots will cause Profill to generate a screen capture of your desktop window. This may include data you don't want us to see, so make sure you close or minimize unrelated windows to prevent that.

  • If you got an actual error message please check that box. If you are able to copy and paste error message text, please do so as well and include it in the "what happened?" box. 


When you submit you will get a confirmation from the helpdesk system to you email. Support will reach out to you to help you using the email address you see in the email box. If you want to use a different address, type the one you want to use.
