Explanation
The start date exists in the lower navbar of the central fill manager workspace. It will always default to "next Monday". A small number of users do not use Monday start dates and some also have one-off patients are are run outside the usual interval.
If you find that you have one off patients or your runs start on another day, it's important to set the start date before you use the Get Orders button.
If you forgot you can turn on reminders. Click here if you want to enable start date confirmation reminders.
If you have an order sitting in the workspace, and you do need to change it's start date you can do so by right clicking on the order badge and choosing "Set Order Start Date"
Because this feature is experimental and very new (April 2024) you will see this warning:
After you pick your start date the updated date will appear on the badge. If you want to examine the changes to make sure they are correct you can do this:

Double click any Rx item in the list and you'll see all the passtimes.
Please note that on the "Passtime Calendar screen" the "Start Date" there comes from Kroll's unit dose screen. It is unrelated and somewhat confusing in the context of this article.
Once you are satisfied with the update you can send the order normally.
